The HS403C, by Holosun, is a 20mm micro-optical sight is for rifle and carbine applications. For instance, features include Solar Failsafe, 12 brightness settings, Holosun’s Green Super LED with up to 50k hour battery life, and 2 MOA Dot.
The HS403C has two power systems, one is operated by solar power only, while the other operates on battery only. For instance, out of the box, this red dot is automatically solar-powered. Therefore, the red dot intensity also auto-adjusts to ambient light. If there is not enough light, such as at night, just press the “+” or “-” button to activate battery power.
Now it will operate like a regular red dot such as the HS403A. You can adjust the intensity by pressing the “+” or “-” buttons. For instance, when it is time to power down the unit, just press both buttons at the same time or simply put it away and it will turn off after 8 hours. Therefore, the unit is now automatically in solar-powered mode, ready when you need it. Moreover, you can verify the power mode by covering the solar cell. Finally, if the red dot is on, you are in battery mode. Above all, if it is off, you are in solar mode.

HOLOSUN® Limited Lifetime Warranty
For instance, your Holosun product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship with the Holosun Limited Lifetime Warranty. Therefore, this warranty applies to the first owner upon registration of the product. In addition, this warranty specifically applies to the metal structure of the product housing and does not apply to the optical and illumination systems.
For instance, optical glass has a 5-year warranty. Firstly, the illumination system including electronics and LED has a 3-year warranty. Secondly, batteries don’t have coverage under warranty. Thirdly, in the event of a confirmed defect under this warranty, Holosun will, at their option, repair or replace the product with a Holosun product of similar type/function, and of equal or greater value. Finally, Holosun reserves the right to make substitutions for similar product/s if the warrantied model in question is no longer in production.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not apply

- Asserted defects caused by normal wear and tear of any part. For instance, that’s including knobs, finish, accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, etc. addition.
- Asserted defects caused by modification including; aftermarket finishes, unauthorized service, improper maintenance, acts of nature.
- Asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments.
Therefore, this warranty is null and void if modification or maintenance is provided by someone other than Holosun. For instance, Holosun may restrict warranty service for our products to the country from which Holosun or its authorized dealers originally sold the Holosun product.
